In helping the Benevolent Ministry team keep things organized this year, we ask that you write  your contact information on the clip boards provided when you take a star, stocking or angel.  Please place gift cards in the collection plate or in the church office.  Download this information as a flyer here.

We are always looking for volunteers to help deliver our gifts. If you are interested in any or all of these worthwhile ministries, please call Linda Billetter at 512/268-9252.

Please lend a helping hand to families and “homeless students” in the Hays school district this holiday season.  You will find angel cutouts on the “giving tree.”  Each child we are helping will have two angels on the tree. Each angel has specific items which include a full set of clothing and shoes  or toys. We ask that you prayerfully consider “adopting” an angel.

Please attach the angel cutout and bring the gifts (individually wrapped) to the church office or church by Sunday, Dec. 10. In trying to keep an equitable balance (most of the angels have brothers and sisters) we ask that you keep your purchases to $50 per angel. In consideration of that amount, we realize it does not fit everyone’s budget; gift cards to Wal-Mart and HEB in any denomination would be greatly appreciated.

Roxanne’s House is the child abuse program of the Hays-Caldwell Women’s Center. Our goal is to provide each child who comes through the doors of Roxanne’s House in the month of December a gift.   You also may want to enclose a poem or bible passage to let them know they are one of God’s children and are not forgotten. You will find red paper stockings
on the “giving tree.” The Benevolent Ministry team asks that you please bring your gift unwrapped, in a gift bag or in a stocking that you provide with the paper stocking attached by

Sunday, Dec. 10.

We ask that your purchased gifts total between $25-$30. We welcome and encourage children as well as adults to help deliver the stockings to San Marcos and receive a tour of the facility.  Contact Diane Cooper at

512/288-3194 if you would like to help with delivery.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Central Texas needs your help. In the church foyer you will find

stars detailing the needs of a child. Please help abused and neglected children who have been placed in foster care, children’s shelters and with extended family.

Please take a star, attach it to the
Christmas gifts (unwrapped or in gift bags) and take the gifts to the church office or bring to church by Sunday, Dec. 3.

We ask that you purchase a gift between $25-$30 so all of the children will be somewhat equal recipients of your love.
