Children's Ministry 

Sunday School Classes - Sunday School hour is at 10:15am every Sunday morning in the Wesley Building unless otherwise noted below.  

• 3-4 year-olds-Godly Play in Nursery B
  
• K-5th grade-Sunday school starts in the Gathering Room of the Wesley Building
  
• 6th-8th grade-Sunday school meets in the Moses East (park side)
  
• 9th-12th grade-Sunday school meets in the Chapel

Upcoming Children's Ministry Events

Parents of Young Children Social on Sunday, January 21 at 12:25. Join us for lunch and a brief introduction to an upcoming Sunday school class geared to parents with young children. Lunch and childcare will be provided. Please RSVP here.

 

• Youth Ministry 
   

  Sunday School -  During the designated Sunday school hour at 10:15am in the Chapel an exciting worship service called FUSION is held for 9th thru 12th grades.

  
  Confirmation - Confirmation at Buda UMC is a three-year process that culminates in the second half of the 8th grade year with a capstone program. Sunday School lessons and UMYF (Youth Group) lessons and activities are all designed to move a young person toward a life-changing decision: to be baptized or to CONFIRM their baptism and affirm that they are indeed Christian and whole-hearted followers of Jesus Christ through the United Methodist Church. Register your youth for Confirmation Class online.  Class for 2012 will run from 3/18 through 5/20 skipping Easter Sunday 4/8.

  UMYF (The United Methodist Youth Fellowship) - Middle school students meet in the Youth House Sundays from 5pm to 6pm, High school students join Middle school students at 6pm for a meal until 6:30 and then High school students meet until 7:30pm.   Each youth is asked to bring $2 to cover the cost of the meal.
