Food Pantry

Buda United Methodist Church operates a food pantry that assists about 400 families per month. Our goal is to provide nutritious food choices for families and individuals experiencing food insecurity. We serve zip codes 78610 and 78640 due to our smaller size, but will not turn away anyone needing food. Monetary donations can be given through our online giving page. Donate nonperishable food by contacting the Stanley Clark by email or by calling (512) 240-9347.  

Food distribution takes place every Saturday from 10:00 am through 12:00 pm. 

Volunteers are welcome and always appreciated. We need your help as we work to feed God’s beloved children experiencing hunger. Please contact Stanley Clark, Director of the Food Pantry, if you can participate in —

• Weekly food pick-ups

• Food sorting on Tuesdays and Fridays, 2-4 pm. Sign up here for weekday food sorting.

• Saturday morning food distribution, 9 am-noon. Sign up here for Saturday distribution.

Having a food handling certification is very helpful but not required. If you would like to know more about safe food handling you may visit this site.
